Jason Craner Biography

Jason Craner has been in Radio News for 9 years. He has worked at stations in Mt. Pleasant, Grand Haven, Lansing, and Fort Wayne. Now back home in West Michigan, Jason is proud to serve as News Director for Lanser Broadcasting; splitting time between studios for 1260 The Pledge and 99.3 JQ 99. "Reporting for work at 4:00 in the morning is not easy. But after 5 years of doing the morning shift, I'm getting used to it."Jason has recieved several regional and national news awards. Under his direction the WBCL Newsroom in Fort Wayne won the National Religous Broadcasters' News Award in 2002, and the Indiana Broadcasters' Outsanding News Operation in 2002 and 2003.While Jason is proud to have won several awards, he is most proud of his family. Amelia Wyn was born in March 2005 and already has Jason and Wife Danielle wrapped around her finger.
